The Milford Historic Society (MHS) appreciates your membership in the Society, and
any help that you can provide personally to furthering the work of the society. See
the Membership page for membership information.
We also greatly appreciate contributions of documents, photographs, books, and regalia
that help tell the story of The Village of Milford and Milford Township. The MHS
has as one of its missions to collect printed material, such as histories, genealogies,
biographies, descriptions, gazetteers, directories, newspapers, pamphlets, catalogues,
circulars, handbills, programs, and posters; manuscript material such as letters,
diaries, journals, memoranda, reminiscences, rosters, service records, account books,
charts, surveys, and field books; and museum material, such as pictures, photographs,
paintings, portraits, scenes, aboriginal relics, and material objects illustrative
of life and conditions, events and activities of the past and present. The society
will provide for the preservation of such material and for its accessibility, as
far as may be feasible, to all who wish to examine or study it, to cooperate with
officials in insuring the preservation and accessibility of records and archives
of the county and of its cities, towns, villages and institutions, and to undertake
the preservation of historic buildings, monuments and markers
Furthermore, we appreciate any financial contributions you can make to our endowment.
We are striving to develop a strong financial base for the society in order to advance
its work in operating the Milford Historic Museum, preserving special structures
and materials from the past, and sharing these resources with current and future
